Joaquim Samarro
Born in Torrão, Alcácer do Sal, Chef Joaquim Samarro began his career in gastronomy at the age of 21 in a local hotel. His passion for cooking led him to join a restaurant dedicated to Portuguese cuisine and, later, to further his knowledge with a cooking and pastry course.
He consolidated his experience in the hotel sector, where he specialized in plating, molecular cuisine and low-temperature cooking, rising to Head of Banquets and Events. In Paris, he once again focused on Portuguese gastronomy, now with an international approach.
Back in Portugal, he chose a comfort cuisine: simple, authentic and centered on natural and sustainable products.
